Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and puianunt.ro, the operator of the puianunt.ro classified ads platform. By accessing the site, creating an account or publishing a listing you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the platform. This English version is provided for convenience; the Romanian version is the authoritative text.

puianunt.ro is a free classified ads platform connecting buyers and sellers in Romania. We act solely as the technical intermediary hosting the listings. We are not a party to transactions between users, we do not own or sell the goods advertised, we do not process payments and we do not arrange delivery.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you use the platform on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to do so. You may not use the service if we have previously suspended your account.

Accounts are created by signing in with Google, Facebook or TikTok. We store no passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to your chosen provider account secure and for all activity carried out from your account on the platform. Notify us immediately at contact@puianunt.ro if you suspect unauthorised use.

Because TikTok does not share your email address with us, if you sign in with TikTok you must add a contact email to your profile in order to confirm and manage your listings.

Listings must be genuine, complete, accurate and compliant with Romanian and European law. A listing may contain at most 3 photos and stays active for 90 days, after which it becomes inactive.

You may not publish or transmit through the platform:

• goods or services prohibited or restricted by law — drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives, official documents, protected species, prescription medicines;
• counterfeit or stolen goods, or goods infringing third-party intellectual property rights;
• sexually explicit content, sexual services or adult content;
• content inciting hatred, violence or discrimination, or harassing any person;
• pyramid schemes, deceptive financial offers, spam or disguised advertising;
• other people’s personal data published without their consent;
• false or misleading information about price, condition, availability or seller identity;
• duplicate listings, listings in the wrong category, or any attempt to manipulate search results;
• malicious code, or any attempt to gain unauthorised access to, overload, or automatically scrape the platform.

We may edit, unpublish or delete any listing, and may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms or the law, without prior notice where the circumstances require it. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account by writing to contact@puianunt.ro.

The content you publish — text and photos — remains yours. By publishing it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, resize and display that content on the platform and in materials promoting your listing, including in search engine results and on social networks. The licence ends when the listing is deleted, except for copies temporarily remaining in caches or backup archives.

You represent that you own the rights to the content you publish or that you have permission to use it.

If a listing infringes your copyright or trade mark, write to contact@puianunt.ro with the listing URL, a description of the right infringed and your contact details. We review the report and remove the content if the complaint is well founded.

The platform is provided “as is”, without any warranty of uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. Transactions take place directly between users. puianunt.ro does not warrant the existence, quality, legality or conformity of the goods advertised, the accuracy of listings, or the good faith of sellers and buyers. Always inspect the item and the other party before paying.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit or data arising from your use of the platform or from a transaction concluded between users. These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where the law does not permit liability to be excluded, including in respect of consumer rights.

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, including reasonable legal costs, arising from content you have published or from your use of the platform in breach of these terms or of the law.

Google, Facebook (Meta) and TikTok are not parties to these terms, do not sponsor, endorse or administer the platform, and are not responsible for its content or for transactions made on it. Signing in through these providers is also subject to their own terms and policies.

How we process your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last updated date shown at the top. Continuing to use the platform after a new version is published constitutes acceptance of it.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes shall be settled amicably and, failing agreement, by the competent courts of Romania. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
